November 2, 2009 SPEED RESTRICTIONS TO BE IN FORCE DUE TO REPAIRS ON OVERPASS ON SOUTHEAST SIDE OF WINNIPEG, ON PTH 59 AT THE PERIMETER HIGHWAY (PTH 100)– – –Speed to be Lowered to 15 km/h, Flagpeople, Pilot Vehicles to be Used to Guide Traffic Manitoba Infrastructure and Transportation advises that motorists, especially truckers, that repairs to the overpass on PTH 59 at the Perimeter Highway (PTH 100) will result in speed reductions. Flagpeople and pilot vehicles will be in use starting at tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. through Friday, Nov. 6 at 6 p.m.
Traffic will still be allowed through this construction area during the repair project. However, all drivers will encounter speed reductions.
Motorists are urged to reduce their speed through all construction zones and obey all signs.
