MOTORISTS ADVISED OF TRAFFIC DISRUPTIONS WHILE SCHEDULED REPAIRS ARE COMPLETED ON PR 489, SOUTHWEST OF CAMPERVILLE
Manitoba Infrastructure and Transportation advises that for approximately one month, beginning Oct. 9, a section of PR 489 southwest of Camperville will be closed for needed repairs.
The work includes removal of a timber bridge over a tributary of the Garland River. The structure is being replaced with a culvert, and other needed improvements will be made to the roadway at this location as well.
During the project, this section of PR 489, which is just south of the community of Duck River and north of Pulp River, must be closed and a detour will be in effect.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and use caution approaching and in any construction zone for their own safety and the safety of workers.
