Statement of Premier Brian Pallister
Like all Canadians, I am shocked and saddened by the shooting earlier this evening at a mosque in Sainte-Foy, Quebec.
On behalf of all Manitobans, I extend my deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims and to the entire community mourning with them.
Canada is a nation of diversity, tolerance and respect. It is my enduring hope that, in the aftermath of this senseless attack, Canadians are reminded of the importance of upholding these values each and every day.
