Listeriosis Public Health Update #3



The Office of the Chief Medical Officer of Health advises that further testing has determined that the Manitoba case of listeriosis reported at the end of August is linked to the current national outbreak.
 
The individual, a man in his 60s with an underlying chronic medical condition, resides within the Assiniboine health region.  The individual was hospitalized for treatment and has since been released.
