“The East Side Eagles Football Club is a staple in East Kildonan,” said Premier Gary Doer. “This facility has played host to National and International tournaments and the investment in this facility today will not only ensure this high level of competition remains in this community, but it will keep physical activity at the forefront for all residents.”

“I’m pleased to announce our Government’s support for the East Side Eagles Football field replacement,” said MP Smith. “Investments such as this will help put Canadians to work, encourage greater participation in physical activity and use of recreational facilities, and ensure that communities across the West have access to the essential infrastructure we need today and in the future.”
