Manitobans Invited to Sign Book of Condolences Following the Death of Jim Flaherty
The Manitoba government announced today a book of condolences is available in the front foyer of the Legislative Building for those interested in expressing their feelings following the news yesterday of the sudden passing of former federal finance minister Jim Flaherty.
Visitors will be able to sign the book daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. It will be sent to the Flaherty family.
Flags at the Legislative Building will be lowered to half-mast on the day of Flaherty’s funeral.
