Province Advises Some Photo Radar Tickets to be Fully Refunded
Some Manitobans who received photo radar speeding tickets issued between June 27 and July 1 in the 7000 block of southbound Kenaston Boulevard will not be required to pay the fine in certain circumstances. The affected tickets did not accurately reflect they were issued in a designated construction zone and included an incorrect fine.
Manitoba Justice will issue a refund to anyone who has already fully or partially paid the fine associated with these specific tickets. Everyone affected by this administrative error will receive a letter including individuals who have made payments, set a court date or requested additional time to pay the fine.
Manitobans who do not receive a letter should continue to follow the instructions on their ticket.
