Province Advises Bridge Reopening Today
Manitoba Infrastructure and Transportation reports the Baie St. Paul bridge on PR 248 will reopen today at approximately 6 p.m.
The bridge over the Assiniboine River was closed last Wednesday due to structural damage caused by an impact to the bridge. Following an inspection and rapid repairs, the bridge is now safe for use.
Future work on this bridge will be required and scheduled for this summer. Government staff will return at a later date to complete the remainder of the repairs.
