PROVINCE TO SHINE SPOTLIGHT ON MANITOBANS' CONTRIBUTIONS TO ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY

Nominations Open for 2018 Manitoba Excellence in Sustainability Awards: Squires

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2018 Manitoba Excellence in Sustainability Awards, Sustainable Development Minister Rochelle Squires announced today.

“The Manitoba Excellence in Sustainability Awards are an excellent opportunity to recognize individuals, organizations, communities and businesses that are enhancing sustainability in our province,” Squires said.  “These awards showcase great success stories and demonstrate that all Manitobans can make a difference.”

This program complements many of the idea set out in the Made-in-Manitoba Climate and Green Plan and helps encourage everyone to take steps to protect the environment while ensuring a prosperous and environmentally conscious economy, the minister added.
