Statement from Health and Seniors Care Minister Heather Stefanson on Receiving a COVID-19 Vaccine
Tonight, I am pleased to join over 300,000 other Manitobans who have received a COVID-19 vaccine. I booked appointments for my husband and I at Shoppers Drug Mart in Tuxedo Park Shopping Centre and received the AstraZeneca vaccine.
The best choice for your vaccine is the first one that is available. I encourage all Manitobans to be immunized as soon as you are eligible to protect yourself, your loved ones and your community.
I want to thank our pharmacy and physician partners for their commitment to Manitoba’s vaccination effort and commend the Vaccine Implementation Task Force for its determined efforts in this historic endeavour.
