Bridge Closure On PR 247 Over LaSalle River
Bridge Closure On PR 247 Over LaSalle RiverMotorists are advised that, effective Oct. 12, the bridge on PR 247 over the LaSalle River in Sanford will be closed to all vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
The bridge will be closed until approximately mid-December to allow assessment and construction of a new structure over the existing one to bring it up to trucking industry standards. Signs directing vehicles to detour via PTH 3 and PR 334 will be installed to minimize traffic disruption in the area.
Motorists are asked to be alert at all times when approaching construction zones and to watch for equipment, flag persons or other crew members working in the area.
