Province Approves Special Warrant to Finance Flood Costs
Manitoba Finance has issued a special warrant to provide additional authority to finance emergency expenditures for the 2014-15 fiscal year.
The special warrant provides an additional $100 million for immediate emergency expenditure requirements resulting from the 2014 summer flood.
Flood-related capital costs for infrastructure repairs are still being assessed and, to date, are being managed within existing authority.
