Province Increases Outflows from Shellmouth Reservoir
Manitoba Infrastructure’s Hydrologic Forecast Centre is advising of increased outflows from the Shellmouth Reservoir.
The outflow will be increased today to 600 cubic feet per second. Further increases in outflow will occur over the next few days to maintain sufficient storage in the reservoir for anticipated spring run-off.
It is strongly advised that people be careful if venturing out on to what appears to be frozen rivers and lakes, due to potential weak ice conditions.
