Four members have been reappointed to the Manitoba Centennial Centre Corporation (MCCC) board of directors, Crown Services Minister Colleen Mayer announced today.

“The Manitoba Centennial Centre Corporation guides the physical, human, financial and technological resources required to support and advance the rich tradition of arts, culture and heritage we all share,” said Mayer.  “We are pleased to reappoint outstanding individuals who will continue this work and ensure all the pieces of this mosaic are in place to enhance the audience experience.”

The MCCC board members are:
•    Kirsten S. Albo (Winnipeg) was an audit and assurance partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers for over 20 years.  Albo was the lead partner on many large complex engagements including both private and public companies.  She then accepted the position of executive vice-president of Pollard Banknote and recently founded Kirsten S. Albo Consulting Inc., an independent consulting and advisory service company.
•    Mercedes Caron (Headingley) retired after working as an owner and operator for Valmar Airflo Inc. for 35 years.  Her experience includes manufacturing, supervision of employees, communication, and lean manufacturing with a Level One Lean Certification.
•    David Martin (Winnipeg) is the stage manager for the Centennial Concert Hall.
•    Jennifer Moncrieff (Winnipeg) has 12 years’ experience at Investors Group Financial Services where she held the position of sales director.  She also has extensive volunteer experience ranging from the Brooklands and St. Paul’s schools to multiple positions at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet including board vice-chair.

These appointments are part of the Manitoba government’s efforts to continue to refresh the agencies, boards and commissions of the province, ensuring that Manitobans continue to be represented in these important positions by highly qualified and enthusiastic individuals, the minister said.
