Construction to Begin on West Perimeter Highway
– – –Traffic Congestion Expected While Work Underway
Manitoba Infrastructure is advising that work is beginning on PTH 100 (Perimeter Highway) to replace the median barrier between Portage Avenue and the Assiniboine River, and that some traffic delays may occur.
The work will be performed at night, beginning at 6 p.m. and ending at 6 a.m. on weekdays, with some work continuing through the weekend. During the construction period, two lanes will remain open during the day, while one lane will be open during nights.
The replacement of the median barrier is expected to take approximately four weeks.
