Statement from Premier Brian Pallister on the Provincial Status Change on the Pandemic Response System
Today, Dr. Brent Roussin and Lanette Siragusa delivered an important and very serious message to Manitobans. That message on how we protect each other must be the focus heading into this weekend.
Our government will continue to act on the advice of Dr. Roussin and our health-care experts and it is our hope that these new measures will help slow the spread of this virus and ensure our health-care system is there for all Manitobans, when they need it.
We all have a role to play in protecting in ourselves and our loved ones, and I encourage all Manitobans to act now and significantly reduce their number of close contacts and follow the fundamentals.
We recognize the significant personal and professional sacrifices Manitobans have made to help protect themselves and their community. We are in this together, and I am confident we will get through this together.
