Province Advises of Increasing Flows at Fairford River Water Control Structure Following Recovery Operation

Manitoba Infrastructure is advising the flow through the Fairford River Water Control Structure will gradually be restored to normal rates following an operation conducted by the RCMP and local communities.

The flow increase will begin tomorrow and will see an initial increase in water level of approximately 1.5 feet on the Fairford River.

This will be followed by an additional increase to restore flow to normal discharge as prescribed under the operating guidelines and will result in an additional rise of one foot on the river.
