Remembrance Day Message from Premier Brian Pallister

Our veterans have shaped our province, country and the world for the better. It is because of their bravery and great sacrifices in the pursuit of peace and democracy that we may enjoy the freedoms we have today.

In light of COVID-19 restrictions, unfortunately we cannot gather in person and participate in services the way we normally would this Remembrance Day. I encourage all Manitobans to join in the great unifying tradition of honouring our veterans and active military personnel by observing the minute of silence at the 11th hour and wearing a poppy.

On behalf of all Manitobans, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the men and women who have served, and continue to serve our beautiful country with courage and dignity.

Thank you for your service. Lest we forget. We will remember them always.
