Province Opens New Testing Site in Downtown Winnipeg

Manitoba Health, Seniors and Active Living is advising that a new COVID-19 testing site will be opening at the Garrick Centre, located at 330 Garry St. in Winnipeg.

The new walk-in clinic will open tomorrow, Monday, Dec. 14 and will operate daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The site will have capacity for up to 80 tests per day. This new testing site ensures individuals living downtown who may not have immediate access to transportation can still be tested.

The province is also advising the mobile testing site located at 1181 Portage Ave. in Winnipeg closed Dec. 11.

Manitobans are reminded that testing is now available at select doctors’ clinics in Winnipeg. Appointments can be booked online at the Dakota Medical Centre located at 17-845 Dakota St., as well as the Minor Illness and Injury Clinic, hosted by Red River College at 2055 Notre Dame Ave.
