COVID-19 Vaccine Bulletin #143



Effective today, walk-in appointments are no longer available at the RBC Convention Centre supersite in Winnipeg. Individuals who wish to be immunized at this location can make an appointment online or through the vaccine call centre at (toll-free) 1-844-626-8222 (1-844-MAN-VACC). 

Eligibility

Eligibility for first and second doses of the COVID-19 vaccine includes anyone aged five or older.

As of this morning, more than 22,000 appointments have been booked for children aged 5 to 11. To be eligible, children must be five at the time the appointment is booked and appointments are only currently available at supersites. Vaccine will be delivered to participating medical clinics and pharmacies between Nov. 25 and 29.

A third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine is now available to all adults a minimum of six months after their last dose, with limited exceptions. More information is available at https://manitoba.ca/covid19/vaccine/eligibility-criteria.html#third.

Vaccine Administration, Supply and Distribution

A total of 2,142,030 doses of vaccine have been administered in Manitoba. 

Many Manitoba vaccine sites are offering walk-in and appointment-based vaccinations for COVID and seasonal flu. Eligible individuals can book their appointments online, or by calling (toll-free) 1-844-626-8222 (1-844-MAN-VACC).

To date, 2,599,670doses of vaccine have been delivered to Manitoba. This includes:

  1. 1,625,040 doses of the Pfizer vaccine; 
  2. 880,420 doses of the Moderna vaccine;  
  3. 91,960 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine; and
  4. 2,250 doses of the Janssen vaccine.
