Manitoba Government Back to Session, Ready to Deliver

Spring Session to Include Legislation and a Budget to Deliver on Commitments for Manitobans: Kinew

The Manitoba government is working to fix health care, make people and communities safer, and grow the economy with strong protections for workers, Premier Wab Kinew shared today.

“After years of cuts, closures and division, our government is taking a new approach,” said Kinew. “This session’s agenda will put Manitoba on a positive path forward with better health care, safer communities and an economy that puts workers first. There’s a lot of work ahead of us and we’re ready to deliver for Manitobans.”

The new government’s first budget will also be introduced during this session and will deliver on government’s commitments to fix health care, lower costs for people with new affordability relief and strengthen the economy, noted the premier.
