Statement from Premier Wab Kinew on the State Funeral of former Prime Minister Brian Mulroney
I was honoured to attend the funeral of former prime minster Brian Mulroney and to pay respects to his family on behalf of our province. Mr. Mulroney’s work as a nation-builder and family man shone through the service. It was a fitting and moving tribute to a great Canadian – our former prime minister. I conveyed Manitobans’ sympathy to Mila Mulroney, their children and grandchildren. They did their father, grandfather and husband proud.
