Province Advises of Bridge Closure
– – –Bridge Over Morris River on PTH 3 Now Closed to Traffic
Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure has closed the bridge over the Morris River on Provincial Trunk Highway (PTH) 3 near Brunkild until further notice.
Due to structural instability, an emergency closure is in place to ensure the safety of travellers.
Both westbound and eastbound lanes on PTH 3 are closed to traffic, with a detour in place directing traffic to PTH 13 and PTH 2. Plans are underway to replace the structure.
