Province Advises of Temporary Reduced Lanes on Perimeter Highway

– – –
Rail Crossing Work on PTH 101 at PTH 15 to Take Place Oct. 15 to 19

Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure advises a detour will be in place at the CN railway tracks north of the Provincial Trunk Highway (PTH) 101 and PTH 15 (Dugald Road) intersection on the Perimeter Highway from Wednesday, Oct. 15 at 6 p.m. to Sunday, Oct. 19 at 6 p.m. while CN repairs the rail crossing.

The detour will involve crossovers between the northbound and southbound lanes. One lane of traffic in each direction will be accommodated on PTH 101 during the work period. Motorists should expect delays and plan alternate routes if possible.

The province is reminding motorists to slow down and drive safely when they see construction signs and flaggers at the roadside. The Highway Traffic Act requires drivers to reduce their speed to specific limits in construction zones.
