Province Expands In-Person Flood Recovery Support for Swan Valley Residents
Manitoba’s Transportation and Infrastructure Emergency Management Organization (EMO) is in partnership with the Canadian Red Cross additional steps to provide flood-affected residents with the supports and services they require, as flood recovery efforts continue across Manitoba.
Residents in the Town of Swan River and the Municipality of Swan Valley West will have access to in-person support navigating the recovery process, including:
- assisting with submission of insurance claims
- Financial Assistance applications;
- providing information on recovery programs and services, including eligibility requirements.
The province will provide additional information including dates and times for the in-person support in the coming days.
EMO continues to work closely with municipalities, Indigenous leadership and local officials to support recovery efforts in impacted areas. The province is also engaging with federal partners to seek all available assistance and resources to support communities as they recover from flooding.
